There have been several disturbances in the forest as of late. It is... we are taking care of the problem and doing all that we can, but there have been some casualties, both on my side and on yours.

I'm not entirely sure bringing a forest spirit to your castle and then banging him is an effective way to stay in good graces with your people, probably.
