[The trees don't tell Daisuke what's coming until it's basically already upon him. All he gets is a brief sense of 'be careful' before even he can sense the ball of raw power coming toward him at... A rather sedate pace, really. Maybe that's why?]

I can definitely owe you a favor, if it's really all right. I haven't been in a proper forest in over a century, so rest would be wonderful.

Ah. One of th' inn worker's kids knows I like wagashi an' keeps trying t'bribe me by giving me more'n I should eat; figured I'd ask if y' had the taste for it, too.

Oh, yeah. Sweets are nice. But are you sure I should be taking your offerings?

Ehn. Kid's not really offering so much as demanding? And they'd go t' waste, otherwise.

If you aren't worried about it I won't worry about it. You can count on another mouth to eat them.
