[The trees don't tell Daisuke what's coming until it's basically already upon him. All he gets is a brief sense of 'be careful' before even he can sense the ball of raw power coming toward him at... A rather sedate pace, really. Maybe that's why?]

[ sedate pace or not, he's still providing a great first impression by jumping like a startled cat and knocking himself out of the tree he'd been lazing in as a result.

at least he lands on his feet and hands instead of on his ass. or his face. and all of the kodama have apparently been spooked or else he'd never live that down. ]

[Comes out from behind a tree and... Well he's looking down on Daisuke but that's just because he's on two legs and Daisuke isn't, because otherwise the situation would be the opposite. Guy's not that tall, even with the dragon horns adding to his height.]

Uh— yeah, 'm fine. Just wasn't expecting visitors.

[ should he get mad about not getting warning? it's within his rights, you're supposed to respect boundaries and territory but on the other hand this guy could probably squash him and take it all if he wanted and nnno. nope. he'll leave it at that. ]

Nah. It was an accident. I'm not trying to sneak up on you or anything. I'm actually kind of lost.

Yeah, it happened a long time ago and I'm alive now but it was kind of a mess.
